The First International Forum on Children and Youth Education for Sustainable Development-Principals Summit was successfully held

In order to create a cross-industry, cross-national, cross-cultural exchange and mutual learning platform for youth development, encourage young people to participate in building a "community with a shared future for mankind", The First International Forum on Children and Youth Education for Sustainable Development was helf in Beijing, from January 16 to 17, 2023, organized by the China Soong Ching Ling Foundation Guided by China Soong Ching Ling Youth Science and Technology Cultural Exchange Center and Beijing Normal University Science Education Research Institute.

About 300 experts, agencies and international organizations from China, the United States, Japan, Thailand, Iran, the United Kingdom participated in the forum online and offline.

The theme of this forum is "Educational Innovation · Cultivating Youth with Sustainable Development Literacy for the Future". The content includes perspectives from experts, case experience sharing, cross-border communication, platform construction and long-term planning. The forms include keynote reports, summit dialogues, principal summits, and theme discussions. All parties at the meeting reached consensus on a wide range of issues, jointly sketched a new picture of sustainable development education for young people, took educational innovation as the driving force, gathered forces from all walks of life, and made positive contributions to cultivating young people in the new era with comprehensive development of morality, intelligence, physical education, art and labor.
