The Association of Education and Technology joins forces with the UK Department of Business and Trade
Collaborating on the future of Sino-British educational cooperation

Recently, the Association of Education and Technology (AET) received the China ELT and Edtech Inward Mission Delegation organized by the British Department of Business and Trade (DBT) at The Bradfield Center, its headquarters in Cambridge. This business meeting aims to promote in-depth cooperation between China and the UK in the fields of education and science and technology.
Mr. George Pippas, Vice Chairman of The Association of Education and Technology, delivered a welcome speech and emphasized that The Association of Education and Technology is committed to providing professional services for global education development and has set up an office in China to build an important platform for educational exchanges and cooperation between China and the UK. The association's mission is to cultivate students' global perspective, strengthen science and technology education, and develop various skills needed in the 21st century. Through cooperation with many well-known educational institutions and technology companies, The Association of Education and Technology provides strong support for the exploration and development of future education. In his welcome speech, Mr. Pippas elaborated on one of AET’s goals, which is to ignite innovative thinking about the education systems in China and the UK. Through in-depth discussions on cooperation strategies, AET strives to strengthen the mutual awareness of educational resources between the two countries, especially in terms of the changing talent needs in the post-epidemic era. He said that the importance of Sino-British educational cooperation cannot be overemphasized, and through this seminar, the association hopes to pave the way for the establishment of advanced educational partnerships.
Ms. Hailey Yu, Commercial Manager of the Association of Education and Technology, briefly introduced AET’s mission and history of cooperation with China, emphasizing the Association’s achievements in promoting early education, basic education, vocational education and higher education in China and the UK. With Cambridge as the core, AET integrates the UK's first-class scientific and technological education resources, and provides diversified learning experiences for young people around the world through cooperation with international organizations, industry enterprises, universities, etc., and enhances international communication, cooperation and competitiveness.
During the period, Ms. Florence Huang, Director of Education, Technology and Higher Education, Department of Business and Trade, and Ms. Claire Tan, Director of English Training and Market Policy, Department of Education and Skills, agreed that this exchange not only provided a rare communication platform for participants, but also provided a platform for Chinese The educational cooperation between the two countries has drawn a richer blueprint and provided a strong impetus for promoting cooperation between China and the UK in the fields of education and science and technology. Representatives of various educational institutions in China discussed cooperation opportunities together, laying a solid foundation for future educational innovation and development.
